    Default Grammatophyllums in the farm

I have not gone to the farm for more than a week, and it was a pleasant surprise to see new grams open.
The Grammatophyllum multiflorum var citrinum and the Grammatophyllum multiflorum var tigrinum are growing on the same tree, several meters up. Their spikes are probably a meter long each.
The Grammatophyllum wallissii is potted because of its size. The stalks alone are probably a meter and a half or more long for the older ones. The spike has been up for about a month, but it would probably be three weeks more before most of the blooms open.

Gosh, these are great, Grammatophyllums are so neat! For those of us who grow on windosills and under lights they are not practical, but we love seeing pics of those who can grow them!

    PS
Love the spotties on the wallasii!

I think they will like South Florida.

I don't know though how they will fare with the occasional cold. But, if I live there I would be trying to grow them.

Margo, They love South Florida. But they get massive in a very short time and I mean truly massive. I know there are hybrids that are suppose to be much smaller growing? But I will bet that smaller growing is still a monster.
