Phal Roots - Repotting Question

This morning I removed my poor Phal. from it's pot - there were moss only for medium, and roors look awful - all white-gray and empty... I left it in the bowl and don't know what to do now to try to rescue it... Help, please!!! I took some pics but can't figure out how to post it.
May be I have to ask about this in another place instead of inrtoduction?

I have read all that thread (lots of pages!) but unfortunately it didn't unswers to my questions. I have opposite situation so far - 4 leaves (wrincled but alive) and 2 big spikes of flowers on each plant, but no roots - all white-gray dry and empty... I want to cut it ll off - they don't seem to be able to do anything... I already did on one of them.
What to do next?? Poor plant just sitting rootless in a bawl... Why in a world can't I figure out how to post pictures? Do you see them?
Please, help...

Oksana,

Go into "advanced" mode in a reply box. See that paper clip icon at the top? That will bring up a box where you can browse your computer (or a storage website) for your photos.

The important thing to remember is they should not be any larger than 700 x 700 pixels to upload.

Once you've found them. click the upload button and wait until it's all done. Then do your reply, and insert the photos by using that little arrow drop down next to the paper clip icon.

Reading this thread will help you understand how you can (hopefuly) save your plant. You need to remove the bad roots and pour some peroxid. I would leave it bare roots for some time and just mist with water. Hope you figured how to post the pics so we can see and be more confident of what we are advising.

If you have leaves and no roots.I would cut off the spikes in bloom and try Water Culture.The spikes in bloom take much needed energy away from the plant. If you try to place a Orchid plant into normal potting medium with no roots,it's done.I would not try this with a Vanda.I have included a link http://www.rv-orchidworks.com/orchid...ure-works.html On the leftside of the first page.There is a Section of How To's,There is a posting on How To Post Photos,I hope this Helps,Rich

Thank you all for unswers. Vanda is okay for noy, but Phals are real bad - I've posted pictures to my previous message (look up, please). Here is the picture of final result with one of them. Second one I didn't tauch yet - afraid, will wait for your diagnosis and prescription. It's amasing how addictive this all is - I lost sleep thinking of what to do and reading Guide to Orchids...

Oksana,You might want to post these questions in the 'Orchid Ailments Thread/Compost Pile' You will get better response for your questions about sick chids.I'd do Water Culture for these plants with no roots.Take Care,Rich

Oksana, your orchid does look bad... At this point I would follow Rich's advise. I haven't tryied the Water Culture myself yet. One of mine was really bad where I had to cut all the roots except couple small ones and she is doing fine now (two months latter). I just had it sitting "exposed" for about a week only misting it and after that I planted in bark. Now she has some new roots growing and a new leaf. I did it following the thread that I sent you link yesterday to read. It helped me and I was thinking it may help you... Good luck!

Thank you all for support. Today I bought couple more Phals, removed them from unclear pots at home and, to my horror - they all were in same condition!! - I had to cut all roots off!!! Means I already have 4 plants in glasses with water, blooming spikes removed... How sad... like a hospital... Never buying at boxstore again!!
