I'm growing on a humidity tray that I think of as big (and which those of you who have greenhouses would probably think was cute) that usually sits at a south-facing window in my living room, and in the darker months I plan to move everything to the top of a short bookcase there and get a grow light. Almost all my pots currently are ventilated plastic or ceramic, with the one clay that the Oncidium came in, and what gets potted into what is a combination of how big the roots are, how topheavy the plant is, how much I want to be able to show it off, and how soon I anticipate having to repot. In other words, there's not a lot of consistent rhyme or reason.![]()
