Frost Damage

Last week, the cold breathe of the north finally reached Hong Kong, and this is what it did to my stubborn Den superbum. But even with frost and dry condition, the silly plant remained stubborn and refuse to drop all its leaves!!

The white part of the leaves are the ones thats been damaged by the frost.

That's a shame Tanya, sorry to hear. Looks like the center of the plant should be ok though.

The rest of the 'chids are ok. I brought them inside, the rest, I covered them with plastic bag. This den. will be fine, I left it outside on purpose without cover just to see what would happen. It need to drop all those leaves if it have to bloom this spring, but I am not going to push my luck too far. This one will be taken inside too if there is another frost.
