    Every year he digs out my Cake Doctor book and asks me to pick out one. This year I chose Mount Vernon cake. It is a three layer white cake, with tart cherry filling between the layers, topped with a marshmallow frosting. I'm not a huge fan of cake, but this was delicious!!
