Brassavola Little Stars Hybrid

I've got this last Saturday in bud, and now the flower has opened. Anyways
I thought that nodosa hybrids are supposed to be fragrant but this one is not.
Anyways its still pretty, still have another spike with 3 buds.

Also can't seem to read the cross this is made up... maybe somebody here can
read it better than me.

I like the yellow color. I could not make out the name on the tag though.

It looks like B. Little Stars x C. Aurantiaca.

I have B. Little Stars which is a hybrid of Brassavola nodosa X Brassavola subulifolia.

Randy's plant is further crossed with C. Aurantiaca which is probably his plant has the yellowish color.

It doesn't particularly look like "little stars.' Try checking it for fragrance at night. I have one in bloom right now which has no fragrance during then day but has a very sweet fragrance at night (hence this orchids nickname "lady of the night"). Not sure what the cross is but it's a nice bloom.

thanks.... i am very much aware that brassavola little stars tend to be fragrant at night
but this one i've been sniffing for every night but could not detect any scent at all. But
last night I took another sniff and there was a very slight hint of fragrance.... and that is
after the rain. As for the tag i am not so much worried about it as I can always ask the
gentleman i got it from, but i wont be able to ask him until end of month.

Pretty. Looks like it says c aurantiaca is the cross. Maybe you can find out something about it.
