Culture tips needed for trigonidium egertonianum

Hi all. I purchased a mature size Trigonidium egertonianum at an orchid show a couple weeks ago. Can anyone give me some culture tips as to preferred temps, conditions, watering, feeding, etc? Thanks in advance!

I've never grown one of those, but given what the flowers look like (they remind me of masdevalias even though they're in a completely different group taxonomically), I be willing to be bet they like things cool 55-65 F, light as for standard (Maudiae type) Paphs, kept damp at all times. At least, without knowing anything else about the plant, that would be how I'd start if the plant were mine.

Trigonidium egertonianum is an easy to grow species.Grow it like a Cattleya.50% shade.Fertilize year round.Can handle bright full sun but not reccomended.It is an intermediate/warm grower.Found on rocks and trees close to creeks and streams.Humidity is a must.Never below 50%

I believe that this plant is fairly hot-growing (my plant came into the country hidden in the underwear of someone from Central America where it/she is native).
Mine has done well in a basket, and seems to like plenty of water all year. It can take some sun; seems to do well in shade too, but doesn't bloom as enthusiastically. It is a very attractive plant without flowers - the flowers, hate to admit, are certainly not dazzling. Cute, in their way.

They are warm growers and require no more light than a phalaenopsis and bloom in the late winter to summer!

I grow mine with my Catts in S/H...funny mine was smuggled, in dirty underwear, from Belize.
I have also seen it grown in baskets. Mine is currently in spike. Here is a picture of a flower from last year. I find the flowers very attractive! I grow it intermediate

I made certain the source undies were clean...and I keep thinking that this is *not* what you usually think about when people say they smuggled things out of Columbia! However, the whole family are avid orchidists, and luckily were partial to the smaller ones; different species for different drawers.
I do think they perform better with far brighter light than a Phalaenopsis needs, though.
Looks so big in the flower photo - it's not!

the flower is about 1.5 inches tall if I remember correctly...I can recheck when it blooms in a few weeks.

hi I have one and this plant likes to be watered 2-3 x week let dry slighty between waterings, its a free flowering throughout the year, also bright light 2500 to 3000 footcandles very bright indirect light and temp between low 60 to 90 max hope this will help you sign joey
