Paph. Salvadore Dali

[Slipperhead]

Here is a first blooming of Salvadore Dali. It is a cross of chamberlainianum var. victoria-reginae x liemanum. I can see two or three additional buds already in line behind this one! I like all of the plants in this group. They are compact, easy bloomers, and seem to bloom for years at a time! My primulinum is going on its 4th month in bloom and I believe the newest growth is showing a sheath!

It does look like Salvador Dali--that famous mustache! Spike should keep going for a very long time--very nice growing! You wouldn't happen to have a pic of the entire plant, would you?

Ooooh! How exciting! I have the same cross and mine is currently in bud. The spike is no longer than 2 inches yet. I'll post a picture of mine when it blooms and we can compare! Cochlopetalums are my absolute favorites. You have a really nice plant there!!

I love those types of paphs....my liemianum has been in bloom for 11 months !!! The new growth should bloom soon,too ! Congratulations on your cool bloomer.
