Picked this up at the last orchid show I attended. I bought it for its foliage. Haven't been able to find any photos of its bloom online. Figured, just for fun, I'd see what type of orchid you all might think it is.

Can't tell if the leaves are flat or round but I will guess "Brassavola nodosa".
Cheers,

Bruce beat me to it...I was going to say Brassavola. I like them...give them alot of sunshine and neglect them and they bloom over and over. Nice one...you'll have to post a pic when it blooms someday.
The leaves are very round in cross-section but it isn't a Brassavola ....![]()
M.......h......
Here are some random guesses...
some sort of vanda? I've seen a kind with cylindrical leaves...
Another guess is a Scuticaria species. Has cylindrical leaves too...
Nope, not a vanda nor a Scuticaria.
Tom has the right of it so he's given another hint. Anyone want to try to guess what he's hinting at? (Btw, Tom, would you happen to have a pic of this one's flowers? I haven't been able to find any.)
No, I don't have a photo. Neat species tho.
maxillaria....something...?
