Tom, that is beautiful! Love the colors. Perfect for Spring. What growing requirements does it need?
Bill, it will grow better under I/W condition, shaded(edit: I meant less than Cattleya light, ~1800-2000FC) and moist.
Wow, the color is delicious! Well worth the wait.
Is that the first blooming? WOW! Nice growing.
Cheers,

Tom, how big is your plant?
Thanks!
Bruce, it is a first time bloomer.
lanhua, my plant is about 14" tall, including the 2" tall pbulb. I expect it will slowly get bigger.
Great close up! I love the color contrast.
Very nice Tom, I got E. sceptrum but difficult to grow here.Congrats for the blooms.
Thank you all again.
Zainal, your climate should be fine for that species though... However, I believe all species(and they look so much alike) from this genus are slow growers and I did have some difficult time to get my seedling established at the begining. I grow my Eriopsis biloba I/W(slightly cooler in the winter), potted in CHC mix, bright shade(~1800-2000FC) and moist year round(maybe slighly drier in winter but nothing serious). Give it another try and good luck with it.
