    Default Tricoglottis philipinensis

I bought this plant 5 months ago, after dry spell for about 6 weeks followed by raining season than it's reward me with a nice bloom but only one. My brachiata just show off the flower bud.

Very pretty, I like the shape & the color of the flower and as I've already said, if there is only one, single flower, then it is even more valuable to me.

I agree with you Ron, in fact the vendor told me that this one is totally different from philippinensis,I don't know what it is may be new species or another variation of this genus.Perhaps Jim C. can help us.Thanks for the info.

I have seen this Trichoglottis on a number of occasions. Nobody can confirm that these plants are wild-collected. I believe that these plants are, in all probability, hybrids with T. philippinensis as one of the parents.
