    Default Phalaenopsis (Golden Amboin x Yukimai)

    This is currently blooming on a branched inflorescence with 9 flowers open. No fragrance, but the soft yellow really 'pops' next to some of the pink and purple flowers around it. The color has just slightly more orange than what this picture shows; just a bit washed out in the sunlight. Hope you like it!

    What a FANTASTIC photograph. I'm not sure which is more stunning, the flower or the quality of the photography. What kind of camera/lens did you use for this?

    The photo was taken with a Canon Powershot G2 digital camera. It was taken without flash, only using natural sunlight as lighting. Nothing fancy, but it sure works well! thanks for the compliment!
