I recently bought this plant at a local nursery. The bloom doesn't look like it will be able to open properly due to being in between a couple leaves. So far though, there is nothing not to like! I look forward to putting it in a larger box after it's done blooming. Or, maybe onto a nice piece of driftwood. (the plant in the background spiking out like crazy is an Enc. Belizensis.)

Such a pretty color! I think it would look wonderful mounted. I am growing my first mounted cattleya (a gift from Betty (espranch) here in the forum) and it is doing great. I bet it blooms before long and I was concerned that I wouldn't keep it watered enough, but it seems to love the heat here in Arkansas.
