Dendrobium bursigerum

Got this last year and I thought that this is D. secundum, but when I saw Ron's
photo along with Jim's explanation on how it differs from secundum it made me
think and since my is similar to Ron's I think mines a bursigerum and not
secundum, what do you think Ron? 2nd time blooming for me.

Alvin, its a common dend so you wont have a hard time looking for one.... last time i was
at the Lung Center there are a few stalls selling this, passing them up as den. secundum.

yep randy, d. bursigerum, just look at the blooms facing all directions.
always nice seeing those!

as randy said, no problem finding one here and if you think the plant looks terrible (dead), than its blooming time!

A really nice Dendrobium.

Yes tom this is a really nice one, unfortunately I have it mounted 2ft above my head so
that makes it difficult to photograph and admire.

Same with you, it's this month (Philippines) their flowering season for this species.

And also the flowering season for Dendrobium armeniaca (I rather accept and choose Dendrobium than Coelandria eventhough it is already validly published the name since I have already seen this plant in 1989 when I have my first Dendrobium x bigibbum cv. "Sonia Boom").

I loved their texture and floral segments.
