Hi all...I have a one zygopetalum that is showing great growth both in its roots and new leads. The problem I am having is that the older leaves are just horrid looking. They are just as black as can be. After doing a forum search and coming up with little, I googled and found many sources that said blackening zygo leaves are usually due to the plant being grown too hot or it being underwatered. I live in the North Bay area of Sonoma Co. CA so I have relatively cool nights and my daytime highs are generally not above the mid-eighties in summer. (I have let the plant dry as is my practice with most all of my others). Have any of you had this problem? I haven't taken a photo of the plant as of yet considering this seems to be the consensus from other sources. Thought I would ask you guys before I dragged out the cam.![]()
