Hi all! I went to repot my sad psychopsis yesterday and noticed things that I had not noticed before. I knew it had some pretty bad sunburn, but I think that it also has rot. Would a sunburn be a vector for introducing disease? The black spots don't have any notable odor. The one on the leaf is pretty soft. There are quite a few new growths on this plant and I would like to save it somehow. The pseudobulbs that are supporting the active growths have a problematic spots on them...can I trim these out of the pseudobulb and seal it so the active growth can still use the viable part for nutrients? Currently, the plant is sitting outdoors drying...

I think I am just going to cut out the bad parts and try to rehab the good. Then go buy another one because everything I have found that could potentially treat the infection is dangerous and more expensive than a new baby or two.
