Utricularia, commonly and collectively called the bladderworts, is a genus of carnivorous plants consisting of approximately 230 species.
U. sandersonii is endemic to South Africa. Flower size around 8mm.
U. calycifida is endemic to northern South America and can be found in Brazil, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela. Flower size 8-10mm.
Utricularia bisquamata is native to southern Africa, where it can be found in Angola, Lesotho, Madagascar, Namibia, and South Africa. U. bisquamata grows as a terrestrial plant in damp, sandy or peaty soils among mosses by streams or wet depressions at altitudes from near sea level to 1200 m. Flower size 8mm.
