    Default Augh! Fungus gnat worms

    I shouldn't complain, considering this is a scale/ mealie season. But the Gnat babies were having lunch on my orchids expense. I had to repot all my orchids, I found quite an infestation eating the roots. It could have been thripes larve, too hard to tell. Needless to say, I spend at least 14 hours repotting this weekend.

    It looks like bug season has arrived! What made you decide to unpot and look for them, Traci?

    I had one orchid that I had soaking, I saw a bunch of them floating in the water.(I also noticed all of the adults had disappeared) I checked a few of the orchids and found them in just about every one I checked. So, I decided to soak each pleant in neem, do root trims, and repot. I figured it was about time anyways, this just hurried up the process by a few weeks.

    Sure wish it wasn't that time again. I HATE spraying stuff on the plants.
