I don't grow cyms, and could not tell you a thing about it, but I love it! Very pretty!
Thank you Kathi. This is the very first orchid I got. A friend gave them to me, asked me if I can have a go at them as they are not thriving. He gave me 4 pots and I had divided and repoted them since, after 2 years they are now very happy and thriving and have 2 pots flowering and their flower spike is about a meter long! It's only last year though that I developed this orchid addiction and since then had over 200 orchid of different species and I still buy almost every week! Just got 4 last week a lycaste aromatica, dockrilla schoenina, stanhopea inodora and a dendrochilium cobbianum. I can't help itbut they really make me happy so there. I have a slipper orchid spike opening up in a week but I don't know it's name, I lost the tag but hoping someone can tell me what its name is
...Happy a nice day everyone!
I took the first picture with a camera with just 4 mp and tried a 6mp in this one as the first picture is not very good.
Whatever the ID I love the colour!
I am not that knowledgeable on Cym species but it reminds me of my Cym. tracyanum. Would you have a close-up picture of one of the flowers?
Thank you very much Ron. When you mentioned cym tracyanum, I googled it and it suggested me some sites. I read a blog by someone called Chuckie -- it and convinced that this is the same plant I have. Thank you for helping me find the right name for my orchid![]()
