I hate it when I miss my orchid blooms...
I hate running out of space...
hey good start....
It really erks me when I find scale on any plant in my greenhouse. We work so hard to keep the plants healthy and those bugs still find a way in more often than I would expect.
Oh, and the space thing too... lol!
Cheers,

Breaking off that new lead when trying to be so careful repotting.
What irks me most is when the emerging flower buds of a hard to bloom orchid are destroyed by insects and you realise you have to wait another few years to see the blooms again!
Accidentally breaking off bloom spikes, especially when none of the buds has even had a chance to open![]()
. Oh yeah, the space thing also.

Sunburning some of my orchids because I stupidly forgot that the enormous live oak that normally provides shade all summer had its canopy thinned out a bit following Dallas's record snowfall earlier this year. It normally provides pretty good filtered sunlight, but this year I kept finding sunburns here and there (of course, sun was never in the wrong spot when I went out to look), and finally it hit me why.
D'oh!
