Next to my orchid flowers I think magnolias are among the most beautiful. This one I planted almost 4 years ago but had to move it twice until I finally found a perfect spot for her![]()

Wow, this is very beautiful. I have a dark dark red one that's struggling with the v low humidity around here. I love magnolias too. It seems to do very well for you- and after you moved it twice!
Nice blooms! She seems happy now. Good job.![]()
Hi GitaYes it's doing very well now considering that I almost gave up on it as it came to a point that it has almost no leaves at all and it's not even winter then! But that has come to pass and thankfully its blooming nicely now. I saw a variety last year in a nursery and it's called black tulip and the color is really stunning!
Thanx Angie![]()
LOL. I thought it odd when I first saw your post that you had magnolia blooming at such an odd time. Then I saw you're from 'Downunder' and the lightbulb lit up![]()
You know what that means to us. The cold weather is coming.....
Lovely flowers. Thanks.
So pretty. I love the coloring. I am happy for you, but that means cold weather for us soon.
Cheers,

My magnolia out back is in bloom now...it's the all white type. I'd never realised how huge the flowers get even on a small tree, until owning one. I love the coloring on yours...very pretty!
I think mine is called Galaxy, Carl. I hope it gives me as many blooms as yours has.
