    Question cymbidiums in spike

    Hi Guys!
I have several pendulous/cascading cyms coming into spike right now & am wondering if the spikes ever need any supplemental support such as curved wires or the like. Do you have any experience with these type of cyms?
    Thanks,
    Remo

The ones I have seen at shows have not had any additional support, but they are more difficult to transport because the pendulous inflorescences and flowers can be easily damaged.

Thank you Susan! I've never seen them with any support but in some pictures I've wondered how, what looks like, a rather scrawny spike can support such a vast array of blooms but, I guess, mother nature has figured it out.
    Thanks again.
