repot this orchid now or wait ?

Hi everybody!
This is the phal' that had problem with mites. looks like now is a lot better and is sending new leaves!
I think it needs repoting since is out of the growing media. the aerial roots look kind of brown but they're still firm. are they sunburned? they don't get direct sunlight but they're one foot away from a south facing window with really bright light around noon.
should I repot it now or wait until spring?

Wow does that look healthy. I believe that you are best off to repot when in growth stage so....

I would go ahead and repot now simply to give it a boost. It is most common to repot in active growth, but I find that repoting encourages growth and spikes. Good luck with whatever way you go.

I agree with Bruce you can repot now one thing I found got white patches, something is growing on the phal root from photo no 1 and 3, look like fungal body.

If it were mine, I would repot and try to give more humidity. Zain mentions white spots...are you misting? I see whitish areas on the leaves. If you are misting with tap water or water with ferts added, could it be that the residue is burning your roots? If that is the case, and you feel you have to mist, use RO water.

I water my orchids once a week, most of them have been repoted from Sphagnum moss to a bark mix. the ones that still on S. moss get water every time the moss feels dry.
I don't mist my Phals' but I actually did for first time while fetilizing last week.
I've been fertilizing every week using as recomended on the packet.
And I don't know if those white spot are a fungal issue. the plant had mites recently but seems like is ok now. the top couple of leaves are brand new and growing, so... I don't know!
Question: ¿should I trim the roots and use the same pot or use a bigger pot?
I got my bark mix soaking right now to repot tomorrow.
