We always have flowers in the hall. At times it is favourites from my garden - daffodils in the spring, roses in the summer - although they don't last very long when cut - chrysanths in the autumn. At all other times it's orchids. Plants I don't need for a show or a table-top competition or display or whatever. Here's waht I brought in today.
The pink cattleya is King of Taiwan "Ta Tsin #1" - gorgeous scent, but a little slug damaged on one of the flowers. The yellow is Haadya Delight - already shown here in a separate thread ; the red one is Potinara Chief Sweet Orange "Sweet Orange" - at least that is what it says on the label - seems a lot of words. The white and green thing is Epi Ciliare , also a separate thread here.
I do like these fancy leaved begonias. One is not allowed them in an orchid show here in UK- all foliage must be green. Means that if I put on a group display myself I mostly have to go and buy a lot of maidenhair ferns ( which I love, but can't keep alive). But at home I can use them - I have a couple of doxen and can ring the changes a bit.
