    Default Blc. Mem. Anna Balmores "Superba"

    Had to put up a temporary hot house on my back porch. It turned cold here faster than usual and caught me off guard. Got some lights. Got a heater. Got some heavy gauge sheet plastic. Voila. Just in time too. I have a lot of new spikes and buds.

    There are 4 blooms on this plant but when I moved it inside under the lights it changed the orientation of the buds so one bloom is sideways and one is upside down.

    Karen: I saw your other Cattleya post. This is also one gorgeous orchid. It sounds like you got your plants "winterized' in the nick of time. I bet that was a relief.
