that has multiple variations in color form - randomly coloured red/white petals and each flower has a different combination of red and white petals:

Very beautiful Branka! Talk about a treat with each bloom being different. Does/has it ever produce a solid red or white? Your pictures are stunning as always!

Obviously there are some with only red or white color - when I googled I found some interesting color combinations, including solid white and solid red.

But would they be the same on the next flowering I wonder ? Meaning if you buy one which is all white, is it all white for ever ?

I saw pics of this ( among other) species when a lecture was given to my Orchid Soc., on the subject by a specialist ; and I asked this question; did not get a satisfactory answer - the problem being ( I think) that a specialist who is "into" herbarium specimens and the fine points of distinction which are used to say that this plant is of this species, and the next one- looking very much like it to the uninitiated- is of another species , does not actually grow orchids at all.....

But it is a lovely thing !
