    Default Maxillaria schunkeana

    Intermediate grower. The flowers are black under naked eye for the first 10 days, then show some purple red color as they get older.

    hehe...love it!! this Max as well as Max. rufescens have been on my want list......does Maxillaria schunkeana have a scent tho....i know Max. rufescens smells like a root beer float...
