Beautiful, Yew! Glad you didn't have to get rid of any thrips this time. Betty :-)

Thanks to Amey for his suggestion to use imidacloprid. In a couple of weeks or so I should have some nice unblemished blooms from a few of my dendrobiums. For the first time in nearly a year I've been able to enjoy my orchids without any blemishes and with no loss of buds(sucked dry before they are fully developed). Even the yellow beetles seem to stay away - so far only a bit of the lateral sepals on my C Hawaiian Wedding Song was eaten!
