Den. microbulbon

Note: This orchid has been recently identified as: Dendrobium elliottianum. See post #9 in this thread for details. (Updated March 27, 2011.)

Bought it as Dendrobium garrettii and I had posted it here as such, but I begin to think it is Den. microbulbon. 0.5" flower and very long lasting

It is a very pretty orchid. Love all the blooms and the lavender lip the flowers have.

This orchid is blooming its head off. I am very taken by these subtle colors and there is a nice contrast between the smooth rimmed petals and the ruffles on this orchid. Well Done! AL

The flowres have sich an elegant beauty, especially contrasted with the log on which they are mounted. Lovely.

With the help of Higgins and O'Byrne, SITF(AOS) has re-identified this species as Den. elliottianum. (Earlier back in 2010, they misidentified it as Den. microbulbon).

Hopefully Bruce will changed the title if he sees this post. TIA
