Dendrobium cucullatum in bloom

Hello all, my Dendrobium cucullatum is finally in bloom, it is almost a month and half late than usual ! This specie has been called with many names like Den. aphyllum or Den. pierdii, but they are wrong as Den. aphyllum is a different specie, whereas pierdii is classified as cucullatum. This plant came to me with just one pseudobulb and one new growth. Now after 4 years in my greenhouse, it produced 5 new growths this year which are all flowering, an amazing display, I hope this plant becomes a specimen, in a couple of years.

the orchid is really awesome.
i have this plant in one of the gardens that i visit. every year it blooms like crazy. really, nature abounds in such beauty !
we are really a blessed lot to be able to enjoy all this.

Thank you everyone, yes the plant is enjoying all the care it gets, but it is more happy to respond to that by blooming so profusely, I like the the plants that reward their owners LOL !

Lovely..Im not surprised many ppl confuse it with an aphyllum as they look similar, although on closer examination the aphyllum has a stronger purple on the dorsal and lateral sepals and petals whereas on the cucullatum the sepals and petals look almost white ( from your photo it looks like a very very light hint of purple) and the purple is confined mostly to striations on the inner lip..
