    Default Another intergeneric--Odonticidium Catante ‘Pumpkin Patch’

    Also a first-time bloomer. Spike is less than half the length it should be, as I clumsily broke it when buds were just forming. Sigh. Well, on the plus side, its height still fits my tallest shelf.

    i just broke a spike today...that just kills me when i do that!! but your flowers are still lovely, despite our lack of grace, they do there best to forgive our "care"

    This one is one of my favorites. I love the color and once they get going they seem to spike often. Sorry about the spike. I hate when that happens.

    I have a similar Colmanara Catante 'Pacific Sunspots' and I want you to know that your photography picked up the Pumpkin orange color perfectly! They really do look this good don't you think? AL
