Useful ideas for wine corks

What to do with all your wine bottle corks (slurp). Of course, using wire and some idle time, make a hanging cork planter. Also, what fun, when gazing at your new orchid acquisition, (sublimely getting wiffs of leftover wine residue from the corks) he he, planted on such a hanger.

Geez, I just gave a whole bag to our art teacher before school let out for summer. She has the kids make stamps with them. I will have to start saving them and do that. What a neat idea!

(unrelated to orchid use) They also make great trivets...make a circular one with adjustable metal bands you can get at the hardware store
