    Question Mari-Lou

    I grow in a bedroom with ceiling fan and 3 vonado fans, approx size of room,20'by20', faces south with huge windows and east with smaller exposure.Been in it for 3 yrs. Two growllight
    carts, 3 shelves with 4 tubes per shelf. Installed pr. of set tubs for water.Have about 200 plants, primarily paphs & phrags - but a little of different types as can be told by my question.
    Just acquired a Maxillaria sophronitis. Have no idea of proper culture. Can anyone help.

    Hi Mari-Lou--

    I do not grow maxillarias, but I believe they are similar to oncidiums in terms of preferences. I did look yours up...what a cutie! Your best bet is probably googling maxillaria culture. Good luck!

    Welcome, Mari-Lou! Wow - sounds like you have quite the set up. I think your new Maxillaria sophronitis will like bright light and lots of moisture. Can't wait to see pictures of the little darling!
