Awesome colour! love it to bits!
Fantabulous ! Oh, I would love to have this one in my collection, such nice shades and very beautiful lip !
I like the way the color intensifies as it radiates out. Such a stunning group of flowers.
Gorgeous...but did you notice the thrip in the one flower?? Time to spray...
Thanks for pointing that out Connie. I hadn't seen it. I have just been and had a look - the white spots are actually a big fat long-tailed mealy bug, and a baby of the same. I should use the past tense - they don't swim very well in a Provado spray...
I very rarely find them on flowers , since I don't have any Phalaenopsis in the house , but I do occasionally find them on the new leaves at the top of Dendrobium nobile growths ( and the nobile hybrids). I use spot treatment rather than spraying everything.
Very nice Geoff. I use 70% Rubbing Alcohol in a mister for mealy on flowers - and I do not sit the plant back down until I have thoroughly soaked the blossoms with R.O. water afterwards. I usually give the alcohol about 30 seconds on the flower - more than enough time to watch the little buggers turn pink. The water misting also normally blows the dead offender off the petal too.
Lovely flower color and I like the simple form.![]()

Fantastic color on a decorative cluster of 6 flowers.
It is an orchid fitting perfectly in to my line of hybrids. I would make right away 5 or 6 crosses with this plant and it's pollen.
