    Beautiful! Just curious-tjis one has 24-25 flowers/buds whereas same plant here usually has 10-11 flowers on same spike. I also notice the flowers are more compact.

    I agree that that the flowers are arranged more compact on the spike than the ones here. I also notice that the flower has fuller form than ours but as to the number of flowers I think that depends on the size of the plant.I have seen a humongous clump that had flower spikes nearly 5 feet long, but I didn't count the number of flowers on the spike - but easily more than 24.

    They grow like weeds here in Ipoh..they are growing unchecked on many of the trees that line the roads here and coincidentally there is a huge clump growing on the tree outside my house measuring at least 2 feet in diameter and recently bloomed with a spike around 3 feet long!
