    Cattleya Zuki Niglla
    Parentage: C. José Dias Castro x C. Fort Lauderdale
    This is one orchid of a lot of 10 seedlings I purchased 15 years ago.
    Some didn't make it.
    The orchid plants who did make it are blooming in April, May, June, July, August and September in the southern hemisphere. This is from late autumn to early spring.
    All of it have excellent shape. The flower size varies from plant to plant in between 11 and 14 cm.
    The image shows the darkest from this lot.

    Wow ! Very beautiful form and a nice color to compliment it, is C. José Dias Castro used a lot in South American hybridizing? I have seen many nurseries there offering its crosses.

    All my images are taken with natural light. Some of my images are taken on a sunny day and are bright, showing highlights and shadows. This specific image was taken on a day with overcast. Sometime it is necessary to make exposure adjustments on a image editing program (iPhoto), which isn't the case with this image.

    Thank you, Horst! That pic is wonderful. I, too, have to sometimes compensate for bright light to remove some of the glare. Looks like the quality of a studio shot picture.
