Vanda Pachera's Delight 'Deep Blue'

Another plant which features frequently in my collection ; I think I have two of this particular clone, and two different Pachera's Delights. Still a young plant - it is one which has only appeared on my radar in the past year or three, so maybe it will improve in some way as it ages - double spike ? higher flower count ? as you see I am a born optimist.

Of course the photo is not treu ; the digital sensor which records the same spectrum as the human eye has yet to be invented ; and I can't get there with Photoshop either - may be off gamut as the technical photographers say. But if you look at the bud at the top of the pic, that is much nearer the colour which my eye sees.
( A curious thing is that when I lift that colour setting and dial that up for a fill- identical to what the spot checker read - this is all Photoshop guff - and then select the whole flower and fill with that setting - it still isn't right - in fact it is even further wrong ! I gave up.)

Beautiful bloom.
The photo is amazing! It is so hard to capture blue like that.
