    Default miltonia I think

    Yet another tagless orchid which I think is a miltonia. Regardless, I put this orchid outdoors every summer in late June for its Summer vacation and by the end of July I find a spike or two. I had to split this plant a few years back so I now have three and they put on quite a show.

    A Breathtaking display Teena. Almost looks as if it has a bit of spider orchid (brassia) in its genes, Just an observation. Very beautiful display!

    Beautiful blooms! I do think it has both Miltonia and Brassia in it, making it a Miltassia.

    It's Miltassia alright. Looks like Charles M Fitch to me.

    Thank you, this is what I found and they look exactly alike! The description said that they grow like a weed which I can pretty much agree with. Its been a very easy orchid to care for. - I bought it because I'm a sucker for shades of purple. - martha

    Martha. I have not yet encountered an orchid that i can confidently say grows like a weed. But I want one that does this now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I will be looking for the miltassia and hope that its crossed genetics will aid in my successful care of it. Miltonias annoyingly form folded/ distorted leaves time after time, but the brassia input will hopefully aid in my favour knowing brassias thankfully suit my culture.
