The flowers are about an inch in diameter, the lip itself is also about an inch long because it is perpendicular to the sepals and petals. The canes end in a psb-like structure as you can seen from this pic.

We also got a Flickingeria but it had not yet flowered.

Some people mistake this plant as Cattleya because of the pseudobulb.
