    Default Fenestraria aurantica

    A cute little succulent. We'll see how long I can succeed in keeping it alive. The flower is quite large for the size of the plant and closes each evening to reopen the following day. Not a long lasting flower -- I may get a week out of it if I'm lucky. The difference in color at the tip of each leaf, is a translucent window which allowes light to enter the leaf. In the wild, most of the plant would be buried with only the the tips exposed.
