Trichoglottis seed pod

I've been re-arranging the greenhouse again....and found a pod on my Trichoglottis Brachiata. It didn't have anything like this when I put it in the greenhouse, and it's been sitting behind my massive Vanda tessellata. So now I'm wondering if I should have it flasked. I've never considered this, in spite of other seed pods. And I was wondering if there is a cross of these two plants? I can't for certain say that is what it crossed with, but it's the only vanda that was close to these flowers at all.

Thanks... Maybe i'll find a nice mossy tree and shake the pod over it when it opens. I have a couple to do that with soon. The epidendrum nocturnum has three pods..two are getting cut off. Now all I need is a teenager to climb a tree for me.

i hate so say that, but changes are 1 in a billion?, since both genera arent native to your location and a certain fungi is needed to set things right.
i have seen recently a cross of Vanda and Trichoglottis, so yes, its possible. Proper flasking would be the order, i would say.
