Another trip through the Orchid Conservatory

Here are a few more photos from my latest trip to the Atlanta Orchid Conservatory - not a whole lot new going on there, but I thought you might enjoy these - and identifying them! again working without a tripod and trying to move quickly, so some are not as clear as I would like - but the color is pretty accurate.

Hi Maura nice shots, that is Paph liemianum and the last picture is maybe Chysis limminghei.

The new set of photos I would guess maybe Paph villosum and Bulbophyllum echinolabium.

So.... according to Zain and Yew, we have ids as follows:

#1. Paph. liemianum

#2. -----

#3.------

#4. Chysis limminghei

# 5. Paph. villosum

#6. --------

#7. and #8. Bulbophyllum echinolabium (that's correct as far as I know - it was the only one that was tagged.)

Now we need someone to fill in the blanks!

Nice photos of some pretty orchid blooms and buds. I was going to identify the bulbo since it was blooming here last week too.

Number 5 is not Paph villosum , it is not even a paph - its a Phrag - a hybrid, I can have a stab at the grex, but something like a schlimii cross I'd guess - Cardinale is the only one IO know really well, and it could be that.

The next one down - the paph in bud - that could be villosum or any one of a dozen other species too......
