    Cool Star Light Phalaenopsis

    This is a phal I have had for a year. Its just a no id recovery phal.. But i had one just like it before that died on Dec. 29,2010. This new phal happened to open its buds the same day a year later. Which is also my fathers birthday. So I figured I would give it the same name in honor of the plant and my father. Phal. Tiger-Lilly! with a touch of a star! ...enjoy!

    Thanks guys Im glad all of you liked the picture. Its a really cool perspective of light and darkness. Took me awhile to get that shot perfect. Here is a quick picture of its true colors if you were wondering.

    Very nice shots, and love the purple in the dark and then the sunset tones in the light!

    Such an interesting effect in those first shots, Andrew. They're especially effective once you see the "real" bloom. Nice work!
