    Beautiful form! Nice color too.

    Colin, as much as this pains me to say this, I believe you should isolate this plant and have it tested for viruses -- there is some rather obvious colorbreak on some of the petals.

    I love the flowers and color! Sad to say I would get it tested for virus too.

    This is a gouldiana hybrid (not anceps) x Cattleya loddigesii.
    It's beautiful and lovely influenced by Laelia gouldiana.

    Yeah, I noticed that bit of color break, but this flower did develop/open during a serious cold snap. In fact, a frost wilted it the next night. The plant survived, and all subsequent flowers are perfect (and interestingly, a slightly lighter shade). I had already isolated it from the rest of the collection, but haven't tested yet.
