Need help identifying an orchid plant

I bought an orchid at a close-out sale, and there was no identification on it. It is growing fast but no blooms so far. All pictures I've seen show only the flowers, so I don't know what orchid this is. It has 3 thick segmented stems, with a white papery covering. One stem has five leaves at the top of it, another has four, and these two stems have the remnants of old spikes coming from the top leaves. A new stem is growing from the base of the tallest stem. I need to know the light and temperature requirements, but have to first ID this plant. Thanks

I think you may have a Dendrobium hybrid orchid plant. They need high light but not direct light. I would think the plants likes intermediate temperature ....Day (20 - 30 C) and Night (15 - 20 C) should be OK. Refer to link:

Hi JoAnn,

First of all, welcome to the forum! I concur with Paphman's ID of your plant and the growing conditions he suggests. Most Dendrobiums like to dry out, at least somewhat, between waterings. They, like many orchids, are a bit prone to root rot if kept too constantly damp.
