    It is started to flowering: besides two blooms it has many more buds:

    Very nice color on that particular one. One I received in trade has survived the winter with me and is currently sending up two spikes. Now to see if I can keep it from aborting the spikes or eventual buds.

    I think it's good to know: once the flower drops, do not cut off the spike as this plant will continue to produce other flowers from old inflorescence, as long as the spike remains green.
