Another beautiful bloom in my backyard!

I want to share with you another of my surprises. I've had this plant for more than 5 years and had never seen it's blooms. Someone gave me a little offspring and I planted it on one of the trees in my backyard. Yesterday it gave me this beautiful flowers! It was particularly nice to see them a day after I recieved the sad news that one of my chihuahuas has cancer. They made me smile again. I am better now. Enjoy!

Al, the veterinarian is suggesting laser therapy. The cancer is growing on his skin, right in the middle of his head. Since yesterday he looks better and has more energy. We are pampering him quite a bit. Amey, I had planted this orchid directly on the tree, but as the years passed I had to prune the branch where it was planted. I sectioned it to preserve the orchid and then I nailed the section back on the tree. It worked perfectly!

I hope the prognosis is very good Carmen. Glad to hear that your pet is feeling better. I have friends who have eleven Chihuahua's that they dearly love. When they all run to the front door when someone knocks it's quite a funny site to see (A herd of Chihuahua's stampeding). They are all affectionate, nice dogs. AL
