So cool, Cathy. These Aerides orchids are fascinating to me. I've never actually tried to grow one though, only the hybrids. How many varieties of Aerides do you grow?

    cheers,
    BD

I only grow a couple species, Bruce. The rest are hybrids. flabellata, houlletiana and a couple of forms of odorata.

The one I bought in St Pete just finished blooming and the other Aerides is just opening it's flowers. Gotta love those colorful scented flowers!
