Good question on the name. I copied it from the tag on the plant which is from a well known grower here in Florida. Perhaps he made a mistake or perrhaps someone else on the forum can shed some light on the issue. But of course an Orchid by any other name........

I dug a little deeper and although the tag is as I listed there is another reference to this plant as L. Purpurata var Flamea (C.H. #7 x 'Xint')
Perhaps this provides some clarification. Sorry for the confusion as I am a novice.
