    Default Cattleya walkeriana

A recent brazilian import. A wild shape, I love it as I love the fragrance.
The 2nd flower was very appreciated by a slug !

Beautiful! I love the walkeriana fragrance. I have two of them and they grow well but the buds always turn yellow and fall off. I think it's a little too hot in Florida for them to bloom well. Your's is excellent. Good growing.

I don't think Florida is too hot. In Cattleya walkeriana's natural habit it is very hot specially during the Brazilian hot and wet summer.
It is more likely that you give too much water during the winter season. Cattleya walkeriana need a 3 to 4 month dry period during the cooler winter season. You should give water only occasionally during this dry period.

Is your plant mounted or in a pot?

Eric, lovely flower. I do have concerns that this is C. nobilior & not walkeriana. The flower but mainly the lip formation & central stripping / color favours nobilior.
